Q&A With Rebecca
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I enjoy that therapy is a creative process. It involves creation—whether it’s crafting new understandings of oneself, forming more effective patterns, or trying out new ways to cope with life’s hurdles. It’s incredibly rewarding to work with people as they explore both who they are and who they’re becoming. Each session offers new insights, and I’m always learning alongside my clients.
How did you begin?
In a childhood journal, I wrote that I wanted to be either an actor, a teacher, or a therapist when I grew up. At this point in my life, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing all three. My work as an actor and teacher has played a significant role in shaping who I am as a therapist today, blending expressiveness, communication, and a deep commitment to helping others.
On a personal note...
My keychain says ‘small things often.’ It’s a reminder to stay mindful of the little moments because it’s easy for them to slip by unnoticed.
